Companies to Receive the Superior Taste Award 2007 in Brussels

BRUSSELS , May 31, 2007 - The International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi) will hold its annual Awards Ceremony on June 1 at the Cercle Gaulois overlooking the Royal Park to officially celebrate superior tasting foods and drinks from around the world submitted to its European Juries of Chefs and Sommeliers. This prestigious event will be attended by members of the Government, diplomats, officials and the international Press.

In 2007, 601 products from 58 countries have been evaluated by iTQi.7% of the products were granted with the 3 stars Award, 33% with 2 stars and 25% with star.

Given the importance of taste in consumers' choice, we are delighted to provide companies with a unique marketing tool to better communicate their products superiority comments Louis Frère, Managing Partner. The Superior Taste Award is a self-explaining Label to guide undecided consumers looking for the tastiest products. Experience shows that impact on sales and on notoriety can be quite significant.
